An md5 checksum is a calculation based on a file. If your file matches the md5 checksum Aion has provided you can be 100% sure your file is exactly the same as the one they are offering for download.

Installation goes as followed: next next next next finish.. I'm sure you'll manage.

What you do:

Start the md5 checker.

1) Click "files"
2) Select the aion installation file.
3) Click start.
4) ... (you wait)
5) After it finishes it will show you the md5 of the file:





If its the same as the above checksum your file is fine. If its not download the file again from a different source or use the torrent to fix the file.

If you still experience problems with installation or other parts of the game you at least ruled out a faulty game installer.
